Develocity for Python

Use Develocity for Python to publish a Build Scan for each supported Python tool invocation to your Develocity instance. Each Build Scan captures console output and execution details; pytest runs also capture test results.

The Develocity Python agent is in Beta. Python support is not enabled by default. To enable it, contact Develocity support or your customer representative.

Key Capabilities

  • Publish a Build Scan for each supported Python tool invocation, with a shareable URL and console log

  • Inspect pytest test results, durations, and per-test execution details in the Build Scan

  • Search and filter captured Build Scan records by project, user, outcome, and start time

  • Enrich each Build Scan with custom tags, values, and links, such as VCS commit identifiers or CI run URLs

  • Integrate with Gradle builds that invoke Python tasks through the Develocity Gradle plugin (see Gradle integration)
